Dr. Patel joined the Katzen Eye Group in September 2022. She completed a bachelor’s in biomedical science at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
During her studies, Dr. Patel has participated in numerous charitable causes. She routinely volunteered for the Special Olympics by providing comprehensive eye exams to children and adults with special needs and was a member of the Student of Optometry Service to Humanity. Dr. Patel has also served as a Peer Mentor, helping guide mentees throughout their optometric career.
Her specialties include comprehensive eye examinations with an emphasis on ocular disease, specialty contact lens fittings, and surgical co-management. She is currently a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators.
Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys working out, traveling, reading, trying different restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
